Partel is Expanding the Team | Technical Design and Consultative Technical Sales

We combine our knowledge in architecture and engineering with technical expertise and a unique building physics approach to build up bespoke solutions for every specific project.

To enhance our current in-house technical design, and professional consultative selling capabilities, we are looking to expand our team with 4 new positions. Here is more about each important role.

Architectural Technician | Ireland – Galway

This new position is for a highly motivated architectural technician with 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a good working knowledge of the building regulations and construction details. An eye for detail and design, with the ability to visualise objects in three dimensions (3D), is essential.

What does the role involve?

  • Collaborate with the technical sales team and customers to provide technical support
  • Produce drawings and information for issue. Production of technical descriptions specifying material and associated properties, utilising knowledge of standards and construction procedures
  • Understand how the design aspects of a construction project influence and relate to performance and functional issues, so that practical questions can be addressed at the outset
  • Attend site and customers locations as required
  • Produce and present quotations to support designs and subsequent management of contacts in CRM
  • Produce accurate, consistent, and professional records, reports, and general information
  • Manage buildability issues related to the external envelope
  • In this technical role, you will be involved in training and mentoring, focused on condensation risk assessments, U-values, airtightness, weather protection, ventilation, and thermal bridging
  • You’ll have constant access to our customers, as well as our product and marketing team, so you can recognise their needs and how to interpret the software for them

Technical Sales Consultant | Ireland – Remote

As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will assist in the development and promotion of our solutions, along with all the services and after-care that come with the Partel name. This technical role will involve training and mentoring in condensation risk assessments, U-values, airtightness, weather protection, ventilation, and thermal bridging.
This new position is for a highly motivated, and experienced technical sales person with 5+ years of experience in the construction industry with a good working knowledge of the building regulations and construction details.

What do the roles involve?

  • Liaise with Architects, Designers, Engineers and building professionals to provide technical support, CPD and specification assistance
  • Provide technical assistance to trades onsite and necessary onsite training
  • Developing and increasing technical sales volumes in your area through existing and new accounts
  • Manage buildability issues related to the external envelope
  • Utilise CRM software to maintain sales information and records
  • Produce accurate, consistent, and professional reports, and general information

Technical Sales Manager / Business Development | UK

2 Positions available: 

  1. Southeast/Southern region
  2. Western/Northwest region

Working as an Area Technical Sales Manager you will have the opportunity to ensure that the sales portfolio for Partel systems is developed, and be engaged in interesting construction projects. The Technical Sales Manager will provide appropriate service and strong knowledge of Partel building components to customers, ensuring the successful achievement of company objectives and growth within the scope of the assigned customer trade.
In
 this technical role, you will be involved in training and mentoring, focused on condensation risk assessments, U-values, airtightness, weather protection, ventilation, and thermal bridging.

What does the role involve?

  • Ensure face to face customer contact is maintained and developed with key existing and prospective customers in the commercial sector for all brands
  • Identify new market opportunities and feedback market intelligence to the business manager
  • Develop new business opportunities with offsite manufacturers, main contractors, architects, and consultants. Far from traditional cold calling, it’s about nurturing and fostering relationships, developing contacts on-site with warm customers, and helping them find the most innovative and cost-efficient solutions for their needs
  • Update CRM daily with project tracking information, customer call details and demonstrate effective diary management aligned with the rating and ranking report for the area
  • Achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within the assigned market territory by effectively selling & promoting the companies services
  • Develop, formulate, implement, and run sales and marketing strategy
