MEV is mechanical extract ventilation, and DCMEV is demand controlled mechanical extract ventilation. For LUNOS DCMEV that means smart extract fans that respond to time, temperature and humidity changes which dictate the speed of the extract fan. This depressurises the dwelling and our patented fresh air device – ALDR- allows fresh filtered air into the dwelling. All units are attenuated for sound and use EC technology – the running cost of a LUNOS system can be as low as €4.50 per annum.
